You must cancel your registration by phone or email (see contact us) at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. If you do not do so and do not show for class you will not receive a refund. If you have reserved a date for a private party please see “parties” for our guidelines.
Due to the extreme weather conditions in Michigan during the winter we do reserve the right to cancel class if the weather is too severe. If there are any questions to whether we are cancelling class there will be a notice posted one hour before scheduled class time on the HOME page of our wesite to inform you of our decision. If class has not been cancelled and you decide not to show our regular cancellation policy will be in effect.

Q: How do I register a class?
A:You go to the calendar page click on the painting for the specific date and it will take you to the registration page.
Q: Is there an age requirement to attend Happy Our Art classes?
A: Yes, the evening classes are reserved for adults 12 years and older. We do have children’s classes scheduled during the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays for ages 5-12.
Q: Can I book a private party?
A: Absolutely! You will need to contact us several weeks in advance due to scheduling. We are happy to do private parties for children and/or adults in studio or off site. Please see our “parties” page for more details.
Q: Can I reserve a large number of seats together at a regularly scheduled class?
A: Yes, but you will need to call when you make the reservation to ensure that there will be enough room to place you all together.
Q: Can I come to class without registering?
A: We do accept walk-ins, but we do not guarantee you a seat. Our classes can fill up quickly and there may not be any space available.
Q: What if you don’t have any experience painting?
A: We have formulated our classes so everyone can do it and have fun! No experience necessary!
Q: What if we want to use different colors than the instructor?
A: Feel free to experiment with color. We are here to guide you, not limit you.
Q: What do you wear?
A: You may wear anything you’d like , but our paint is permanent and may not wash out. We recommend wearing something you do not care about getting dirty. We do provide aprons that will help protect your clothes.
Q: What do I need to bring to class?
A: Only the snacks and beverages you may want to enjoy.
Q: Do you have bottle openers and corkscrews?
A: Yes, we have everything you need to get into your drinks.
Q: Do we need to bring our own glasses?
A: We do provide plastic cups and prefer that if you bring your own, you use plastic.
